Oh my God!! What a few weeks...the comedy world (and my own) has been shaken by John Mulaney going full Page Six on us, and I truly can’t wait to hear his new material so we can get Charles Mulaney’s take on it all.

Now that I’m vaccinated, I’ve been returning to a somewhat normal lifestyle and forgot what it felt like. It is busy and expensive.

My girlfriend and I spent about 40 hours apart and that was the longest we had been apart since 2019...adorable and very unhealthy!

Also, last weekend, I went to visit my family and returned to an apartment that smelled like an indoor water park. This is how I learned about the concept of a “deep clean”. It’s like a regular clean but you talk about it all week. “I can’t wait to do a deep clean this weekend.” “When you’re gone...I’m doing a deep clean.”

Also...one does not do a deep clean, my girlfriend does a deep clean. I am not capable of a deep clean. I’ve tried, but apparently I don’t have it in me. She must do the deep clean. I don’t think you are capable of a deep clean either.

The rules of a deep clean are:

1) it must be performed by her. 

Yup, those are the rule. Also, a lot of bleach is involved, but that’s not in the rule.

Then, this weekend, we went on a beach trip so this week’s comedy recs are all centered around vacay!! Check ‘em out!

So many good moments in this podcast! Phil Rosenthal has Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix, a travel food show, and it is the best time you can have while watching a person eat. He joins Jon Gabrus, King of Long Island, to talk about their love of lunch. They talk traveling and eating which I listened to while eating a cannoli donut at the beach. Jesus Christ, this episode is right in my wheelhouse.
